Channing Hamlet, Managing Director

Channing is a Managing Director at Cabrillo Advisors and has conducted a multitude of business valuations and fairness opinions throughout his career. Prior to Cabrillo, he was a Principal at LLR Partners, a $260 million private-equity firm, where he was involved in structuring private equity investments, due diligence and advising portfolio companies at the Board level. Channing has also worked in Legg Mason’s Investment Banking group, where he was involved in transaction execution for mergers and acquisitions for companies in a broad range of industries.
Upon graduating from Cornell University with a Masters degree in Operations Research and a BS in Mechanical Engineering he worked for Mars & Co, a boutique strategy consulting firm, where he advised clients on growth strategies, competitive assessments and strategic acquisitions often requiring valuation analysis. Channing holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses and is an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA). Channing is also a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Jamie Burress, Director, Valuation Services

Jamie Burress is a Director in the Valuation Group of Cabrillo Advisors, LLC. Jamie brings thirteen plus years of valuation experience that includes leading and performing valuations of business entities and intangible assets for acquisition, divestiture, financing, financial reporting and tax. Jamie’s valuation experience primarily includes purchase price allocations for financial reporting and tax purposes (ASC 805), goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350), gift and estate valuations, share-based compensation valuations (409A and ASC 718), and tax restructuring.
Prior to joining Cabrillo, Jamie worked for 6 years in Duff & Phelps Valuation Advisory practice where she advised large multi-national companies, middle market companies, and small privately-held partnerships on a range of valuation and corporate finance issues including: business and equity valuations; intangible asset valuations; corporate and tax restructuring; financial planning and reporting; and domestic and international cost of capital requirements.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Jamie spent over 7 years in Deloitte’s valuation practice. Prior to her valuation experience, she worked for 7 years as an accounting manager in financial reporting for a national insurance company. Additionally, she worked for over 2 years as a Senior Associate with a Big Four accounting firm’s assurance and advisory services practice providing auditing and business consulting services.
Jamie received her bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and her MBA from Southern Methodist University. Jamie is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas, a member of the AICPA, and holds the accreditation in business valuation (“ABV”) from the AICPA. Jamie is also a member of CFA Institute and a CFA Charterholder.
Russell Zanetti, Director, Investment Banking/Valuation Services

Russell Zanetti is a Director in the Valuation Group of Cabrillo Advisors, LLC. Russ brings over ten years of experience in investment, valuation and financial advisory services related to business transactions, performing valuation analyses for businesses, valuation of common and preferred stock in early-stage/pre-IPO companies, complex instruments and derivatives, fixed income securities, equity research/trading, portfolio management, as well as stock-based compensation. I have implemented leading approaches in business and equity valuation, working with public and privately-held companies across different industries, domestically and internationally.
Prior to Cabrillo, Russ was a Director with Silicon Valley Bank’s Valuation practice in the Bay Area where he provided a wide-range of valuation and advisory services for emerging/high growth companies, working with some of the top venture backed companies in the US and across the globe – including two of the top performing IPO’s in 2011 & 2012. Russ also conducted due diligence for valuation assignments, executive management and venture capitalist interviews, business plan review, financial analysis, market and industry research. He also lead the Accelerator valuation team and SVBA’s technical committee, provided thought leadership on valuation issues, and created and analyzed complex valuation models for determining the value of equity securities, debt, and embedded derivatives.
Prior to joining SVB, Russ worked at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP where he performed business valuations in a wide-range of industries for such purposes as tax planning and compliance, strategic planning and financial reporting. His valuation and financial advisory engagements have included the valuation of closely-held-businesses, derivative securities and intangible assets.
Mr. Zanetti earned his MBA from Bentley University, and a bachelor's degree in finance from Bentley University.
Brent Glova, Manager, Valuation Services

Brent Glova is Manager of Valuation Services at Cabrillo Advisors where he conducts business valuation work for acquisition, divesture, financial reporting and tax compliance purposes. In his tenure in the valuation field, Brent has performed valuations of business entities for financial reporting and tax purchase price allocations (ASC 805), goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350), board advisory, fairness opinions, and share based compensation valuations (IRC 409A and ASC 718). Brent has served domestic and international clients in an array of industries including: life sciences, technology, real estate and industrials among others. Given his background, Brent has an additional focus at Cabrillo on the real estate and fixed asset portions of complex business transactions.
Immediately prior to Cabrillo, Brent focused on asset management, development finance and property and portfolio acquisitions at Federal Realty Investment Trust, a national, public retail REIT. Previous to Federal Realty, Brent worked at Duff & Phelps, LLC in the Real Estate Valuation & Consulting group, where he extensively valued and consulted on the real property assets of pension funds, real estate investment trusts, as well as public Fortune 500 and private companies.
At Cabrillo, Brent is heavily involved in firm best practices and campus recruiting. Brent holds a BS in Finance with a concentration in real estate finance from The Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, he is an Associate member of the Appraisal Institute.
